The new Apple iPad Pro
With the recent release of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models, it’s only typical of the digital world to now await the next ‘big thing’ from Apple. And the new device may just be the iPad ‘Pro’. A larger iPad designed predominantly for business users that will attempt to replace the laptop.
Apparently, the new iPad will feature a screen measuring 12.9 inches diagonally – (the iPad Air and iPad have a 9.7 inch screen while the iPad Mini features a 7.9 inch screen), and may incorporate some form of keyboard, to re-create the laptop experience. Further design rumours include a repositioned camera, redesigned buttons and a touch ID sensor.
Speculators have suggested the iPad Pro will feature 2GB of RAM and run on the ‘A8X’ – an (awaited) enhanced version of the current chip found in the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It has also been claimed that the new iPad will be available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Inside sources have suggested that the iPad Pro will be released next year, alongside an updated iPad Mini. However Apple fans will not have to wait too long for a new Apple device with further rumours suggesting that a modified iPad Air will be released this year.
