Both smartwatches feature Google Assistant and are thus the first wearable to ultilise Google’s take on Apple’s Siri. Using Google’s Assistant you’ll be able to take notes, send a text or email, set a timer or alarm or in the case of LG Sport, request a step count update or heart rate scan.

Overview

A huge bonus of the LG Watch Sport would have to be LTE connectivity. Using LTE you could stream music while you’re out and about and take calls if you put in a Nano-SIM, without the need for your phone. The Sport also has more RAM and a large battery. However, the Style is advertised as a cheaper alternative at $249 (around £199) compared to the Style at $349 (around £279). Check back at the blog for updates on the UK release and pricing.
