With a similar look to the Samsung Galaxy S7, the new Honor 8 sports a sleek dual 2.5D glass body, offset with aluminium alloy. Not only does the Honor 8 offer a premium look, the frame is also highly durable with Huawei’s 15-layer construction. The display is 5.2″ combined with an ultra-narrow bezel for easy one-hand usage. Finally, the Honor 8 is available in three colour options – Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White.

On the back of the phone you’ll find a dual-lens 12-megapixel camera with laser autofocus. One of the Honor 8’s lenses captures a vibrant colour image while the other snaps a monochrome photo. Further features include a fingerprint sensor that unlocks in 0.4 seconds and up to 47% of power in just 30 minutes of charging.
Disappointingly the Honor 8 is packed with the older version of Android and runs on Marshmallow (6) rather than Android’s latest Nougat operating system. However at just £369 SIM-free, the Honor 8 has plenty of features that offer great value for money.
